As robots have more and more different applications, the cases where interaction with an end user is required are also increasing. The progress in the development of service robots serving households and the elderly, as well as in culinary proof of concept in the first decade of the new millennium, has been very promising.

While robots easily assemble a car in a jiffy, very little effort has been made in the first decade of the 21st century to widely introduce robotics in the environment of a cocktail bar.

This is where ROBOEXOTICA has been coming in since 1999, to try to create a competition for developing technologies and to introduce cocktail robotics as an index for the integration of technological achievements into everyday life and as a means of documenting the creation of new interfaces for human-machine interaction, a priori dedicated to hedonism!

ROBOEXOTICA and the pool of creative people who come together annually to celebrate spirited robotics are now responsible for new ideas on this topic year after year. Our goal is not to replace human bartenders with machines, but rather to help shape a modern cocktail culture by showing new ways to enrich the cocktail experience.

ROBOEXOTICA is trying to establish contacts with developers of cocktail robotics worldwide and to act as an international platform for everyone who is interested in the topic.
